WE ARE NOT OPEN BANK HOLIDAY MONDAYS

Classes start back on Monday 9th Jan 2012.

Monday Night is Class Night situated in one of Cheltenham's most stunning venues, a 15th century Tithe Barn (see directions video below).

There are 2 Salsa classes at three levels, with plenty of time to dance inbetween and after each class.

If it's your first time at Salsa you will be eased in with a very simple Aboslute Beginners Salsa Class to build your confidence. This class will teach you the basic steps and lasts about 10-15 minutes, all very simple.

Immediately after this class you will then be joined by the rest of the Beginners in the same room where you will learn how to dance the basic Salsa steps with a partner as well as learn one of the core Beginners turns. Each week you will learn a different move.

During the class you will be asked to change partners every few minutes; a quick hello, a quick practice of the moves, then a quick goodbye before you change partners again, all lots of fun and very social.

At SALSA SQUAD we keep it very light, fun  and relaxed. We encourage people to be happy making mistakes, to be patient with themselves and most importantly patient with each other, to laugh out loud when it goes wrong and celebrate when it goes right.

Timings of the Salsa classes on Mondays in Cheltenham are as follows:

Doors Open 7.45pm

Absolute Beginners Salsa Class - 8pm to 8.15pm

At 8.15pm the Absolute Beginners then join in the Beginners Salsa Class, details below.....

First Beginners Salsa Class - 8.15pm to 9pm

Salsa Dancing 9pm to 9.30pm, or just watch others dance and see what you will be able to do very soon.

Second Salsa Class 9.30pm to 10pm

Salsa Dancing 10pm to 10.30pm.

Note: Salsa Lessons at Improver and Improver Plus level run along side the Beginners Class in different rooms.

• Start any week. Absolute Beginners Salsa Classes held every week - in the Beginners Room.
• Progress to Improver and Improver Plus Salsa Classes at your own pace.
• Come on your own or with friends
• Wear normal going out clothes, flat shoes, relaxed and informal
• No dance experience required
• No need to book, just turn up and come when you can
• Prepare to have a lot of fun
• This is a Bring Your Own Drinks Venue or there is a kitchen for water.
• A warm and friendly welcome awaits you...
• £5, £4 full time NUS

Tuesday Night is Party Night at Butlers, one of Gloucester's top club venues with a full bar. There are 2 Salsa Classes at THREE levels and plenty of time to Salsa dance inbetween and after.

At 8.15 the Absolute Beginners then join in the Beginners Salsa Class, details below.....

On Friday there is a quick 45 minute Salsa class at 9pm followed by 2 hours of social salsa dancing.

Immediately after this class you will then be joined by the rest of the Beginners in the same room where you will spend a further 45 minutes learning how to dance the basic Salsa steps with a partner as well as how to perform one of the core Beginners turns. Each week you will learn a different move.

During the Salsa class you will be asked to change partners every few minutes; a quick hello, a quick practice of the moves, then a quick goodbye before you change partners again, all lots of fun and very social.

Salsa Classes at Improver and Improver Plus level run along side the Beginners Class in the main rooms.

Social Dance 10pm to midnight. Entry to Night Club after midnight included in the price.
